The vicissitudes of a dispersed community and the fates of particular history-whether it began with the arrival of the first Jews in the country they called Sepharad, and which later came to be known as Spain, or was it in 1429 when on the strength of an edict proclaimed by the Catholic Kings the Spanish Jews were expelled as it then seemed for ever.

The voice creativity of Stanisław Niewiadomski, has for me as a polish artist a very personal and patriotic meaning. These songs do not only have musical value to me, but in my opinion many of them are comparable to those of F.Schubert or R.Schumann. Niewiadomski's music gives particularly value to my own Country. I feel it is important in a moment of the proposed European Union.
